An internationally popular tap dancing troupe is set to perform in St Albans as part of its 10th anniversary tour.

Tap Factory, famed for its blend of dance, percussion, acrobatics, and comedy, will perform at the Alban Arena on Wednesday, February 7 at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £29 and are available from alban-arena.co.uk or by calling the box office on 01727 844488.

The performance is suitable for ages five and up.

Directed by Victor Pausanias, Tap Factory's 10th anniversary tour has been praised as "an electrifying display of high-energy dance, explosive percussion, and jaw-dropping acrobatics, seamlessly woven together with live music and mesmerizing choreography".

The group, which is made up of eight male performers, has developed a global reputation, with over 700 performances across all five continents.

The Tap Factory website describes the performers, saying: "An incredibly generous cast that gives itself without counting until the last second and gives you a purely positive energy."

Tap Factory was first created at the Tivoli Theatre in Lisbon. Since 2021 the show has been performed with a second team for the US cruise company Royal Caribbean, and is now on stage every week with the world's largest cruise ship The Wonder of the Seas.
