'9 to 5 the Musical', featuring music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, is coming to Harpenden's Eric Morecambe Centre this month.
Based on the hit 80s movie of the same name, the musical - with story written by Patricia Resnick - focuses on three female co-workers who concoct a plan to get even with Hart, their sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical and bigoted boss.
Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy of giving their boss the boot, giving their workplace a dream makeover and taking control of the company that has always kept them down.
The show is being performed by Harpenden Musical Theatre Company.
