George Street in St Albans is set to be flooded with food and live music this week as the city hosts the Gin & Jazz festival.

The event, now in its fifth year,  has been organised by St Albans BID and the George Street Retail Association.

From 6pm to 11pm on Friday night (October 6), shops and hospitality venues are set to open their doors for late night shopping, while the street is lined with "fabulous gin bars".

Businesses will provide a variety of gin blends on the night, alongside other beverages and non-alcoholic alternatives.
