Every nomination for a Cider Pub of the Year award are establishments that are located in St Albans.
The Great Northern, The Mermaid and the Robin Hood have all been nominated for CAMRA's (the Campaign for Real Ale) South Herts Cider Pub of the Year.
Members of the campaign will now visit each pub before completing a form, and returning it to CAMRA by Monday, March 13.

Categories from "quality and condition of product" to "style, décor and furnishing" will be assessed by members, with a basic score given for each.
Members have also been asked to bear in mind that not all ciders served in pubs are "real".
CAMRA defines a real cider or perry as "being fermented from the whole juice of fresh pressed apples or pears, without the use of concentrated or chaptalised juices".
The Mermaid's sister pub, The Windsor Trooper, was nominated for Slough, Windsor & Maindenhead CAMRA's Pub of the Year Award for 2023.
The Robin Hood won South Herts Pub of the Year in 2021, meanwhile, the Great Northern was featured in the AA Pub Guide for 2020.
A spokesperson for CAMRA told The Herts Advertiser: “While those who enjoy real ale are spoilt for choice across South Hertfordshire, when it comes to traditional real cider and perry the discerning drinker has a bit more searching to do.
"St Albans is ahead of the game though, as shown by the fact that all three nominations for our annual cider and perry award this year are St Albans pubs.

“Many people don’t realise that CAMRA campaigns these days on a broad range of issues of interest to pub-goers, including availability of real cider and perry.
