England’s oldest pub, Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, will be getting itself into the history books at St Albans’ youngest festival.

Beloved by tourists and citizens alike, the pub will be making a lot of new fans by bringing its best bits to the Meraki Festival.

Landlord Christo Tofalli said: “We are going to have a big marquee, and we essentially setting up the pub there.

“We are going to have a family feel, and it’s for all age groups.”

Christo has promised a selection of beers, a barbecue, and coffee brewed by Tikki Tonga coffee.

Their marquee will be open from 6am in the morning, serving healthy breakfasts, and will close at 11pm.
