An evening of opera arias, show songs and bite-sized theatre is being offered in St Albans next Sunday, May 18.

The staged selection box from Irrational Theatre will run from 7.30pm to 9pm at the Maltings Arts Theatre. Paula Chitty, who runs Irrational, explained: “The evening is a way of letting some of the talented performers present their own work.

“I usually direct and design my own shows but instead I have thrown open the doors to staging a theatrical selection of pieces by other very talented artists. It is set to be an enjoyable and very interesting evening of opera arias and show songs, from Puccini to Phantom via some physical theatre, multi media and performance.”

Tickets are £10 available from www.maltingsartstheatre.co.uk.
