Coffin Up at the Radlett Centre

COFFIN Up, a black comedy set in the sleepy village of Langsley Abbot, is being performed by The Village Idiots at The Radlett Centre next Wednesday, March 14.
A fast-paced, farcical comedy, it tells the story of a dastardly undertaker and his quest to make money by whatever means.
With mounting bills and a lack of customers can the undertaker get enough money to keep his business afloat and fulfil his life-long fantasy or will his apprentice Doug put a stop to his scheming and get the girl of his dreams?
A spinning, foldout set creates the backdrop for a tale of greed, deceit, pilfering, insanity, love, flamenco, theft and Morris dancers.
The Village Idiots are a company of mask actors and theatre makers, who met and trained in a small village in Hertfordshire. Formed in 2005 and inspired by Buster Keaton, Jacques Tati and CSI Miami, they create entirely non-verbal, highly visual theatre. The performance starts at 8pm and tickets at £14 with concessions £12 are available from the box office on 01923 859291 or go to www.radlettcentre.co.uk
