OSCAR Wilde's classic story, The Picture of Dorian Gray, is being performed at The Radlett Centre next Wednesday evening, February 20.
Fresh from a successful tour, The European Arts Company is putting on the production which is adapted from the novel at 8pm.
Following their successful production of Chekhov's Shorts last year, the company's new production features a versatile cast of five actors who tell the story of Dorian Gray using only the objects found within an artist's studio.
Picture frames, paint pots, brushes, dust sheets, step ladders, trestles and anything else that comes to hand are used to create the physical world of Victorian London.
Tickets are £12 with concessions £10 and students £8, available from the box office on 01923 859291.
ää Rabbi Lionel Blue, known to millions through his radio broadcasts, returns to The Radlett Centre at 7.30pm next Sunday, February 24.
An Evening with Rabbi Lionel Blue will see him use his own experiences and offbeat sense of humour to tell a selection of stories, incidents and conversations with the trademark dotty, inconsequential flavour which appeals to people from all religions and from none.
Rabbi Blue mixes humour with humility, compassion and commonsense. He talks about the people he has known with affection and about himself with a delicious sense of the ridiculous.
Tickets are £16 with concessions £15.
