THE WORKS of Dr Seuss came to the St Albans stage when Top Hat Stage School put on its summer show Seussical.

Fifty local children aged from four to 17 took part in the show and the five days beforehand spent preparing for it.

And they were watched by over 250 people at the performance at St Albans Girls School where the summer school was held.

Principal Warren Bacci said: “The kids have only had five days to learn all their lines and songs, so it was hard work but lots of fun and they really did pull it off.”

Top Hat runs holiday courses every Easter and summer as well as a regular stage school. The youngsters have recently performed in a show at the London Palladium to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
