The Fab Four in the shape of the Bootleg Beatles come to the Alban Arena on Monday, March 7.

The tribute to the scouse band have had six appearances at Glastonbury Festival, several world-tours, numerous radio and TV appearances and many sell-out shows at the Royal Albert Hall.

With a little help from their orchestral ensemble, they also reproduce live on stage, songs that The Beatles never actually performed themselves.

The show begins at 7.30pm and tickets at £29 are available from the box office on 01727 844488 or online.

Youth musical theatre company, Rare Productions, are putting on High School Musical at the Arena from next Thursday, March 10, until Saturday, March 12.

Often described as a modern adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, it tells the story of two high school juniors from rival cliques, Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez, who try out for the lead parts in the East High school musical, and as a result, divide the school.

Performances are at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets range from £12 to £16.

* No sooner is High School Musical over than Rare is holding open auditions at the Arena for its next production.

They are being held at 10.30am next Sunday, March 13, and attendees will be asked to learn a short dance sequence, read lines from a scene and sing a song excerpt. Admission is free.
