UP-and-coming St Albans dancer Annesha Parkinson has battled through to the final of a street dance competition.

Annesha, 20, beat of hundreds of dance hopefuls in the Birmingham heat to make it through to the final of Street Dance: The Search.

She will now take part in the grand final at London’s KOKO Club in Camden next Sunday at which the special guest judge will be Tobias Mead from Britain’s Got Talent.

The winning finalists will be brought together to form a new street dance crew with a £10,000 contract which will also include master classes and creative management from the industry’s leading professionals.
