SUMMER performing arts workshops for local teenagers are being held next week at a St Albans school.

Living the Dream, a performing arts company which is based in St Albans, is holding workshops at Beaumont School which range from The Lion King and Stomp coached by West End performer Neisha Jones to physical theatre, comedy, hip hop and contemporary dance.

The workshops also gives Living the Dream a chance to scout potential talent for its next summer showcase in 2010.

Zoe Jackson, who founded Living the Dream when she was 16, said: "We are very lucky to have such talented and experienced artists teaching our workshops this summer.

"Hosting the workshops is an exciting endeavour for Living the Dream company and is another stepping stone towards providing affordable, diverse and quality training to young people to help them thrive in their performing arts careers."

Each workshop costs £15 with a full week costing £39. Further details can be found at www.living thedreamcompany.co.uk or by emailing Zoe at info@livingthedreamcompany.co.uk
