Inside Out, regarded by many as Pixar’s best animation since Up, is being shown at Harpenden Public Halls at 3pm this Saturday, February 20.

It is being screened for half term by Harpenden Film Society and tells the tale of 11-year-old Riley who is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco. With conflicting emotions, she has to find the best way to navigate a new city, house and school

Tickets are £5 for non members and £3.50 for members with admission for children £2, available from the Public Halls, WH Smiths and Godfrey’s Fish and Chips in Harpenden or via the website.

Next Wednesday, February 24, the film society is showing Ruth and Alex, starring Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton in a New York love story.

A retired couple realise that a flat five storeys up is not practical and set about trying to sell it.
