St Albans’ Trashville launches free download

A FREE download album has been put together to celebrate the spring clean of the Trashville website –

The Lo-Fi Lounge Volume 1, released this month, contains a few of the acts that have played at Trashville Lounge nights over the last five or six years.

They include Sid Griffin (The Long Ryders/Coal Porters) who played at the Trashville mini festival in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and the Vibrators classic Whips and Furs which were recorded at a session with Knox from the band,

In addition, there is lo-fi blues and alt-pop from Germany in the shape of Clark Nova and Mäkkelä’s Trash Lounge, folky acoustica and Americana from the likes of Dodobones, P.P. Dog, The Lone Groover and Rae Kelly, country-blues rockin’ from Marianne Hyatt, The Trailer Trash Orchestra and Grae J Wall & Los Chicos Muertos along with the alt pop of The Pocket Gods.
