A GROUP of local musicians who give concerts on a regular basis throughout the country are appearing in St Albans next Saturday, October 6.

The concert is being held by St Albans Music Club from 7.30pm at St Stephen’s Church Hall off Watling Street, St Albans.

The first part of the concert is music for violin and piano by Mozart, Beethoven and Smetana, played by violinist Marion Garrett with Peter Stephenson at the piano.

The second half consists of Beethoven and Rachmaninov solos played by local pianist Elizabeth Altman.

St Albans Music Club meets monthly to enjoy live music played by local people and new members are always welcome. Ring club secretary Linda Lane on 01727 762617 for further details.
