Drummer Bryan Spring and his trio open the new 
season at Herts Jazz Club this Sunday, April 5.

Tutored by Philly Joe Jones, Bryan emerged in the late 1960s, becoming Stan Tracey’s regular drummer for many years as well as forming a successful 
association with Don 

In recent years Bryan 
has focused more on his trio, releasing The Spirit Of Spring on Trio Records to critical acclaim.

The club gets underway at 7.30pm in the Hawthorne Theatre, Welwyn Garden City, and tickets in 
advance from www.hertsjazz.co.uk/gigs.html are £3 students/£8 members/£10 concessions/£11 full.

On the door they are £5 students/£9 members/£12 concessions/£13 full
