Soprano’s lunch concert at St Peter’s Church, St Albans

TALENTED young local soprano Katherine Boyce returns to a city centre church to put on next week’s Wednesday lunchtime concert.

Katherine graduated from Southampton University with a BA Hons in Music and is now a pupil of Julie Kennard. As well as undertaking solo recitals, she is a soloist with several choirs.

She was soprano soloist in a recent performance of Fanshawe’s African Sanctus at the Abbey with St Albans Bach Choir.

Katherine, accompanied by Nicholas King, will be including items by Handel, Purcell and Fauré at the concert on Wednesday, June 19, at St Peter’s Church, St Albans,

The free concert begins at 1pm and is in aid of Grove House Hospice
