A CHARITY music evening is being held in Harpenden’s own manor house on Saturday evening.

Harpenden Lions Club has organised the concert which is being held in the Great Drawing room in Rothamsted Manor from 7.30pm. Picnickers are invited into the grounds at 6pm.

The varied programme will include compositions from Beethoven, Bach, Shostakovich and Mendelssohn played variously on piano, flute and cello with piano accompaniment.
