Magnificent seven at Herts Jazz Club

A MAGNIFICENT seven of the best British musicians are coming together at the Herts Jazz Club on Sunday.

The line-up, which was put together at Wakefield Jazz Club last September, features Alan Barnes, saxes, Andy Panayi, tenor sax /flute, Mark Nightingale, trombone, Steve Waterman, trumpet/flugel, Dave Newton, piano, Andy Cleyndert, bass, and Clark Tracey, drums.

Clark said: “The music is our choice of material with arrangements by Alan Barnes and Andy Panayi.”

The club meets at Campus West, Welwyn Garden City, and the evening begins at 7.45pm. Tickets are £15 on the door, £12 online at www.welhat.gov.uk/cw and £5 for students and under 21s.
