John Verity Band at the Farmer’s Boy, St Albans

TWO former members of Argent will be appearing when The John Verity Band performs at The Farmer’s Boy in London Road, St Albans, tonight (Thursday).

As well as John himself, drummer Bob Henrit also played with Argent and making up the trio is Mark Griffiths on bass.

On Saturday night, Allergy play a wide range of contemporary covers and Sunday’s Unplugged Session is being filled by Grae J Wall & Los Chicos Muertos.

Next Wednesday, May 2, there will be a Jazz Jam to which all musicians and singers are welcome. Resident band Freefall Jazz will be hosting the event with Semafour making a guest appearance.

The B D Blues Band return to the venue next Thursday, May 3.
