ACCOMPLISHED and popular recording organist Janet Dowsett is returning to St Albans on Saturday for a concert of music for all tastes. Janet, who will be performing at St Albans Organ Theatre in Camp Road from 7.45pm, has been playing keyboard instruments

ACCOMPLISHED and popular recording organist Janet Dowsett is returning to St Albans on Saturday for a concert of music for all tastes.

Janet, who will be performing at St Albans Organ Theatre in Camp Road from 7.45pm, has been playing keyboard instruments since she was 11 and has travelled extensively, becoming one of the best-known and most-popular figures on the light entertainment keyboard circuit in Britain and abroad.

She combines a busy career as a performer and teacher and known for her compering skills and contributions to music publications.

At the St Albans Organ Theatre she will be playing the Wurlitzer and Rutt theatre pipe organs.
