THREE Harpenden Choral Society members have presented a cheque for £800 to Herts Air Ambulance from a collection taken at their carol concert in December.

The cheque was presented at North Weald Airfield to Herts fundraising manager Michelle de la Bertauche who thanked the choral society for supporting the air ambulance for the second year running.

More information about the choral society and its chosen charity can be found at www.harpendenchoralsociety.org.

The next concert featuring Handel’s Coronation Anthems and Mendelssohn’s Hymn of Praise begins at 7.30pm on Saturday at Harpenden High Street Methodist Church.
