A Christmas Carol in the hands of the Alan Barnes Octet can be heard at Herts Jazz Club this Sunday (4)

Alan is on tour with the suite and narrative based on the Charles Dickens’ classic and is joined at the club by Karen Sharp and Robert Fowler, reeds, Bruce Adams, trumpet, Mark Nightingale, trombone, Dave Newton, piano, Simon Thorpe, bass, and Clark Tracey, drums.

The evening at the Hawthorne Theatre in Welwyn Garden City gets underway at 7.30pm and tickets in advance are £3 students/£10 members/£13 concessions/£14 full.

On the door they are £5 students/£12 members/£15 concessions/£16 full.
