A LATE cancellation has meant that the Dave Newton Quartet will make a welcome return to Herts Jazz Club this Sunday.

One of the heavyweights of British jazz and a master of the jazz piano, he is a mainstream pianist who plays with wit and grace.

A hugely popular performer at Herts Jazz, Dave is dripping with awards for best pianist. He will be joined by Martin Shaw, trumpet, Arnie Somogyi, bass, and Matt Skelton, drums.

The club meets at Campus West, Welwyn Garden City and tickets are £5 for students and under-21s, £11 in advance from http://www.hawthornetheatre.co.uk/whatsonstage.html and £13 at the door.
