The acclaimed Matt Ridley Quartet play Herts Jazz Club this Sunday, October 9.

Formed in 2012, the band has been praised as one of Britain’s very finest contemporary quartets, working in a genre somewhere between free form and advanced lyricism and containing four talented musicians.

The quartet comprises Matt Ridley, bass, Jason Yarde, alto, John Turville, piano, and George Hart, drums

The club meets at the Hawthorne Theatre in Welwyn Garden City and tickets in advance are £3 students/£8 members/£10 concessions/£11 full.

On the door they are £5 students/£9 members/£12 concessions/£13 full.
