Composer Adam Protz, who has written music for films, animated shorts, DVDs and documentaries, is releasing his four track EP entitled Movements this month.

Adam, from St Albans, has been writing music since he was 15, originally writing heavy rock songs with soft orchestral bridge sections before ganing a desire to write for Hollywood movies.

But after listening to minimalistic meditative piano music, written by the likes of Ludovico Einaudi, he discovered he was much more suited to creating emotive music.

His music lacks lyrics so the listener is able to interpret the piece as they wish. As aresult his EP epitomises meditation and relaxation. Movements is due to be released this Sunday.
