STUDENTS of the Living the Dream School of Performing Arts performed a flash mob for business magnate Sir Richard Branson last week.

They were part of a high profile line up for Virgin Media Pioneers The Project at The Royal Opera House in London on Friday.

Ten young entrepreneurs had only seven weeks to organise the event called Impatience is a Virtue which demonstrated and celebrated young UK creative talent.

The students had the opportunity to meet Sir Richard and delighted the crowds with their flash mob routine. They rubbed shoulders with Mo Farah and Adam Deacon and went on to more applause with freestyle dance performances.

Zoe Jackson, founder and director of Living the Dream which has schools in St Albans and Harpenden, is part of the Virgin Media Pioneers community. She was recently selected by them to represent Sir Richard Branson’s Control Shift Campaign as a spokesperson for young entrepreneurs, appearing on a platform with Vince Cable and meeting David Cameron.

She played a key role in persuading the Government to launch the multi million pound Start Up Loans scheme announced in the Budget in March 2012 and is now one of 10 Young Ambassadors working with James Caan to promote it.

This year Zoe is a finalist for the MADE Change Makers award and Living the Dream are shortlisted as one of the UK’s best 80 small businesses with The Pitch.
