RESIDENT theatre organist Robert Wolfe is putting on a concert of music for all tastes at St Albans Organ Theatre next Saturday, October 17.

Robert has been resident theatre organist at Norfolk's Thursford collection for 29 years and at the tender age of 15, he was the youngest-ever musician to audition at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ.

He went on to play for dancing there for three years before his appointment at Thursford.

At St Albans Organ Theatre in Camp Road, Robert will combine his talent with the powerful sound of the Wurlitzer which was originally installed in the Granada Cinema, North London.

The concert begins at 7.45pm and tickets at £7.50 can be obtained by calling 01727 768652.
