Concert for St Albans Mayor

A CLASSICAL music concert in aid of his charities has been organised next week by the Mayor of St Albans, Cllr Chris Oxley. He has invited local young people playing violin and piano to take part in the concert at 7.30pm next Friday, October 9, at St Alba

A CLASSICAL music concert in aid of his charities has been organised next week by the Mayor of St Albans, Cllr Chris Oxley.

He has invited local young people playing violin and piano to take part in the concert at 7.30pm next Friday, October 9, at St Albans Town Hall.

The evening, in aid of the St Albans branches of Citizen's Advice Bureau and Centre for Voluntary Service, will feature The Musicale String Trio, Julian Trevelyan and Chantal Osindero.

Tickets are £10 each, which include an interval drink of wine, and they are available from the district council offices in St Peter's Street, CAB in London Road and the CVS in Catherine Street. Cheques should be made payable to the Mayor's Charity Fund.
