A COMEDY course opens its doors again next Tuesday, April 26, for a five-week period at a St Albans pub.

The Funny First Mondays Comedy Course is for all those who would like to try stand up comedy and don’t know where to start.

The first course started just over a year ago and graduates have gone on to appear in comedy competitions, regular gigs and even open their own comedy club for course graduates to play – Marlborough Nights.

Mike Manera, regular MC of Funny First Mondays, teaches the course. A stand up with nine years experience, he was a teacher/trainer before turning to comedy.

The course is being held from 7.30pm at the Duke of Marlborough pub in Holywell Hill and full details and a prospectus can be obtained at www.funnyfirstmondays.co.uk/courses html, email info@funnyfirstmondays.co.uk or call 01525 630153.
