Prolific artist Francine Holland is throwing open her studio to show her work in oils and watercolours.

Francine, of 52 Westminster Court, St Albans, is taking part in the annual Herts Open Studios event and is a long-standing member of its organisers, Herts Visual Arts.

Her studio will be open from 11.30am to 5pm every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday until September 25.

Francine has painted all her life and now she has retired from publishing and charity work, she is enjoying the freedom that gives her.

She has an eclectic style which she has shown at previous Open Studios and at the Maynard Gallery in Welwyn Garden City. She has also been commissioned privately.
