A SPRING day at Magdalen College in Oxford so inspired a camera club member that her photo has been chosen for a limited edition book.

Jill Hobson of Park Street Camera Club took the image entitled Fritillary Meadow on a beautiful day in the university city and from thousands of submissions, it has been chosen for Portfolio Two, recently published by The Royal Photographic Society (RPS).

Jill said: “It is a great thrill to be included in this prestigious publication and in such distinguished company.”

3,500 images were submitted for Portfolio Two and only a small proportion were selected. The 240-page book shows current styles and trends within the RPS and the photography of its members.
