Another look at Gilbert

A RE-EVALUATION of the work of Alfred Gilbert, dubbed the English Cellini, is taking place at The Radlett Centre tonight (Thursday). Jane Kelsall is putting on the lecture for Radlett Art Society at 8pm but it is also open to non-members at a cost of £4.

Jane Kelsall is putting on the lecture for Radlett Art Society at 8pm but it is also open to non-members at a cost of £4.

Gilbert's work was overshadowed by his contemporary Rodin and his life story reads like the plot of a Grand Opera - but with a happy ending.
