AN open meeting is set to take place to discuss the creation of a forum to represent the views of local organisations and individuals involved in the arts.

The meeting will be held by the St Albans Venues Group at the Town Hall, St Albans, on Tuesday, from 7pm.

There will be an opportunity for networking both before and after the discussion, along with space to display information about yourself or your organisation.

The invite extends to anyone involved in the arts who lives, works or studies in the district, from professional venues or companies, to voluntary arts organisations, individuals and groups working with any art form.

Organisations are asked to bring a maximum of two representatives to the meeting.
