HARPENDEN Public Hall is hosting the first-ever beer and cider festival in the town tomorrow and Saturday.

It has been organised by the South Herts branch of CAMRA and will feature around 60 real ales including former Champion Beers of Britain, foreign beers from all over the world and a wide selection from local brewers.

To celebrate the inaugural event, the Wells and Young's Brewery double-decker bus will be visiting the festival and dispensing pints of their premium Wells Bombardier bitter.

The festival runs from 11am to 10.30pm daily and tickets for all sessions are £3.
