A new theatre company run by 18-21 year olds is putting on its first production this weekend at the Trestle Arts Theatre in St Albans.
Black Box Theatre, founded in 2016 by Amber Williams, Emily Carhart and Freya Mitchell with the remit of creating exciting and engaging theatre, is putting on Tennessee Williams’ Suddenly Last Summer at Trestle in Russet Drive.
It can be seen at 7pm this Saturday and Sunday (26/27).
Suddenly Last Summer asks how far a mother will go to preserve her son’s reputation and examines how an environment of human savagery and acidic hierarchic society values shape a person.
