A CLASSICAL concert held at St Albans Town Hall raised over 900 for the Mayor's charities.
The performers on piano were 10-year-old Julian Trevelyan and 13-year-old Chantal Osidero joined by the Musicale string trio including Kathryn Wood and Hannah O'Sullivan on the violin and Millie Davis, cello.
The Mayor, Cllr Chris Oxley, said: "All the players were superb and the quality of the playing greatly appreciated by the audience. However Julian, who is also a chorister at St Albans Cathedral, was exceptional. His composure and relaxed manner showed through the whole of his performance. He plays with a musicality which experts consider to be well beyond what they would expect from someone of his age.
