One of Britain’s leading chamber groups, the Galliard Wind Ensemble, are performing for Radlett Music Club next Tuesday, November 24.
Soon to celebrate their 20th anniversary, they play regularly in many of Britain’s prestigious venues with appearances at the BBC Proms and many festivals.
They regularly give masterclasses and lectures to the top British music academies.
At the concert, which is being held from 8pm at the Radlett Centre, they will be performing Holst’s Wind quintet in A flat, Op. 14, selections from Britten’s Metamorphosis, Arnold’s Divertimento for flute, oboe and clarinet, two miniatures by Vinter, Sullivan’s overture from the Pirates of Penzance, Clarke’s Zoom Tube and Patterson’s Comedy for Five Winds.
