THE well-known Willson Consort is giving next Wednesday’s lunchtime concert at St Peter’s Church in St Albans.
The skilful recorder consort will be playing music from the 16th Century through to the 20th, from Susato to Raymond Harvey with a Boismortier trio sonata somewhere in between.
They will be passing through Wales and Tyneside en route and there will be an opportunity for the audience to try Jeremy White’s Crimebusters quiz at the end.
The free concert begins at 1pm with a retiring collection in aid of Grove House.
