LONDON'S West End is coming to a secondary school in St Albans this summer to give young performers a taste of the limelight.

Pineapple Performing Arts School, which is based in Covent Garden in London, has organised a West End Workshop at St Albans High School for Girls next month and will be bringing a star performer along for the ride.

Nadine Cox, who has recently finished a three-year run playing Madame Morrible in the smash hit musical Wicked, will head a team of drama teachers and choreographers for the course, which will take place in the school's state-of-the-art dance studio.

The West End Workshop will be running every day from Monday, August 10, until Friday, August 14, starting at 10am and ending at 4pm. For more information, visit www.pineapplearts.com
