A chance to unlock the lives of Egyptian pharaohs and Roman gladiators is on offer at the two St Albans museums this Easter.

Both Verulamium Museum and the Museum of st Albans will be running activities over the coming weeks focused on life in Roman Britain and Ancient Egypt.

Visitors to the Museum of St Albans can also explore the free exhibition Ancient Egypt Lives Forever that runs until Sunday, May 17.

Among the highlights are an insight into Roman domestic life at Verulamium Museum this Saturday, a chance to make a Roman keyring next Tuesday and Thursday, April 7 and 9 and an opportunity to meet a Roman soldier next Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12.
