AN annual May festival at the University of Herts in Hatfield is well underway with guest artists from all over the world appearing.
The Mayfest also features staff and students of the university in a festival of cultural diversity which ranges from samba and flamenco to classical and indie.
Still to come at the festival is N’Faly Kouyate and Dunyakan with their Afro beat tomorrow evening (Friday) and Rhythms of the City – Os Tempos Do Samba, a cultural journey in song, rhythm, music and dance tracing the history of Brazil’s national artform, on Saturday night.
The Jane Turner Dance Company with contemporary dance-theatre is putting on a performance next Wednesday, May 18,
