MODERN folk duo Turin Brakes are appearing at The Horn in St Albans next Wednesday, June 13.
Commonly found playing sold-out shows at Shepherds Bush Empire, they comprise Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian who hail from Balham in London.
Their second album, Ether Song, was a departure from the acoustic sound that had brought them success with their first album. Recorded in Los Angeles, California, it reached number four in the UK Albums Chart in 2003.
The album produced several UK hit singles including Long Distance and Pain Killer, their first Top five single in the UK,
