THE lunchtime concert at a city centre church next Wednesday, November 28, will be given by Loretta Hopkins (soprano), David Fletcher (bass-baritone) and Alice Turner (piano).
David is well known for his performances with St Albans Chamber Opera, and as a soloist at previous recitals in the series.
This time he is joined by Loretta and Alice, with whom he has planned a recital of operatic arias and duets by Mozart, Donizetti, Bellini, and Thomas.
The free recital, which is at St Peter’s Church, St Albans, starts at 1pm and is given in aid of Grove House.
