A TRIO of talented London professional players will be playing at the lunchtime concert next Wednesday, September 26, at a city centre church.

The Alexandra Trio comprises Julia Burkert (violin), Mark Lacey (clarinet) and Jeremy Cooke (piano) who often perform in larger groups,

Among the pieces they will be performing are Stravinsky’s arrangements of The Soldier’s Tale, in five movements, for just those instruments.

Then comes Mozart’s Trio for clarinet, viola and piano, K498, known as the Kegelstratt Trio and a Bagatelle by Gerald Finzi for clarinet and piano.

The concert which is at St Peter’s Church, is free with donations towards Grove House and starts at 1pm.
