Treat in store with Harpenden supermarket art show

ARTWORK from tomorrow’s artists will be along the aisles when a local supermarket opens its Guerilla Gallery this week.

A district-wide art project run by St Albans Arts Sport and Health, Guerilla Galleries showcase locally-produced paintings, sculptures and visual art work to the public through exhibitions in unexpected spaces.

The Somerfield store in Southdown Road, Harpenden, will be showcasing artwork from its youngest recruits, pupils from Year Two at The Grove Infants School, afer its official unveiling tomorrow.

Work by 80 pupils from the school will fill the store during the month.
