A rockin’ country and roots feel can be found at The Live Music Project this month with Grae J Wall’s Trailer Trash Orchestra headlining and support from David Hoare, Hubcap Moon and Marching Donald.

The music evening at Trestle Arts Base in Russet Drive, St Albans, gets underway from 7.30pm and admission is free although donations are welcome.

The Trailer Trash Orchestra came together through a shared love of country-noir and trash rock’n’roll which their sound reflects.

David Hoare is a Herts-based musician who combines absurd amd surrealist humour while Hubcap Moon are a six-piece band who, armed with banjos, mandolins as well as conventional guitars and drums, play their own songs together with a few well-known favourites.

Marching Donald returns to Trestle with his own mix of contemporary folk and delta blues.

The Live Music Project: Volume 1 is now available on CD, featuring some of the bands and artists who have played at Trestle over the past 12 months. It is available to buy at Trestle Arts Base or from Denise Parsons and costs £6 with all proceeds going towards supporting The Live Music Project which is a community project run by volunteers.
