ROYAL Opera bass Jeremy White will be raising money to help young musicians at a recital in Harpenden on Saturday, February 18. Jeremy, who lives in St Albans, will be singing music by Schubert, Quilter, Liszt, Mozart and Rachmaninov at the event in the Great Drawing Room at Rothamsted Manor. He will be accompanied by colleague and Royal College of Music professor Mark Packwood at the piano. Tickets priced £16, including interval refreshments, are available by calling 01727 835493. The recital is in aid of Spode Music Week which enables young musicians to work alongside professionals. It starts at 7.30pm.
