THREE top comedians will be appearing at a St Albans comedy club next Thursday evening, August 6.

John Ryan will be MC at The Comedy Club at Havana in Victoria Street where he will be joined by Quincy as the opening act and Mike Gunn as the headline.

The amiable John uses his acerbic wit and encyclopaedic knowledge of the world around him to keep his audience on their toes.

His East End Irish upbringing gives him the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and he has a reputation for thinking on his feet.

Stand-up, presenter, actor and compere, Quincy hosts his own live chat show and is a TV warm-up act. As well as performing in all the top UK comedy clubs, he also tours in large-scale venues all over the UK and as a stand-up and in sketch shows

He has performed across the country with John Simmit and Jocelyn Gee and is currently working on a sitcom.

Headliner Mike Gunn is one of the most recognisable names in comedy as a result of his deadpan character.

A misspent youth and a series of grim jobs, including one as an undertaker, cultivated his outlook on life. He has worked with some of the biggest names in comedy, including Jo Brand and Alan Davies and his television appearances include Al Murray's sit-com Time Gentlemen Please and Harry Hill's TV Burp.
