IN less than a week 60 local children rehearsed and put on a show for over 200 people during the summer.
The show Camp Rock was the work of Top Hat Stage School and the youngsters, aged four to 17, had just five days to learn the lines, songs and dance routines at the SandPit Theatre before it was performed at St Albans Girls School.
Some of the children had never performed before and Top Hat principal Warren Bacci said: βIt is great fun to take part in the five-day course. The final show was amazing. Everyone got involved and I was so proud of all the cast.β
He described Camp Rock as a great musical which was extremely popular with the youngsters.
